Business Development Associate (South Korea)
Description
In this role, you are the
Business Development Associate
for 1inch Labs’ team in Korea, focused on driving the 1inch’s growth across all business verticals. To be successful, you will need to leverage your extensive strategy, business development, partnerships experience, and industry connections to attract companies across the spectrum (e.g., major Korean conglomerates, major entertainment brands and social influencers, cryptocurrency exchanges, leading blockchain companies, and developers). You will work closely with the 1inch Labs’ APAC Regional Director, Product, Business Development, and Marketing teams to develop your local business strategy and align on business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead expansion plans for 1inch within South Korea and APAC, while ensuring strong coordination with the internal leadership team & stakeholders
Develop strategies and KPIs to push operational standards to the next level relentlessly
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and deliver new partnerships in South Korea and APAC, forging strong relationships and leading deals end-to-end
Work collaboratively with the Product, Business Development, and Marketing teams to architect localized go-to-market and growth strategies for new and existing 1inch products
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2~3+ years in Business Development or Marketing with experience in technology, enterprise, partnerships and sales
Strong ability to build and execute a regional strategic planning process and business approach designed to grow users in the 1inch
Strong industry connections to be able to know about and win new projects that are looking to integrate with the 1inch Network and win them over to the DeFi space
Grow relationships across verticals to discuss how they could shift business models to the DeFi space.
The ability to build a pipeline of projects from both inbound and outbound lead generation.
Experience with B2B-based partnerships, large-scale projects, or engagements with Fortune-1000corporations
Skills
Strong research skills
Strong stakeholder and project management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with senior management is a plus
A desire to learn as you'll often be answering questions that have never been answered before, requires a high level of intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to dive into new problems, domains, tools, and techniques
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English
